Zachary Einerson
Co-Founder, CEO and Dean of Counseling
Zachary has committed his 20+ year professional career to student success in higher education helping students achieve their academic and career goals. His passion for exploring diverse cultures and languages has taken him around the world to over 100 countries and 7 continents. Having gained admissions three times and graduated with distinction from the best university in the United Kingdom with two graduate-level master’s degrees and a Ph.D., he understands the challenges of admissions processes. Zac has consulted for the University of St Andrews, ranked best university in the United Kingdom, on their highly selective admissions process and international student recruitment. He leverages his insider experience to guide sudents through the university selection, application, and preparation process. Whether you aim for a top university or a different university, Zac is committed to helping you achieve your academic aspirations and be your best you.
Eric Anderson
College Counselor
Eric has worked in international higher education for over 30 years, including 15 years with WorldStrides and International Studies Abroad in roles on 100s of university and college campuses across the US. Eric’s career in education also includes 13 years with Up With People as Vice President of Admissions, Mentoring Manager at AmeriCorps, and three years living in Australia with the Olympic Youth Camp as part of the Sydney Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University. Eric has visited over 40 countries and all 50 states, but these days prefers spending free time at home in Colorado catching grasshoppers and watching High School Musical over and over and over with his wife and two young daughters.
Shadi Samiei
Co-Founder and Chief Product Strategist
Shadi has studied computer engineering and UX design and has over a decade experience in running businesses and give strategy solutions to multiple startups.
Pam Sherman

Pam is a freelance writer and editor based in North Carolina. She was awarded a Master of Letters with distinction in Publishing Studies and a Master of Letters in The Gothic Imagination from the University of Stirling in Scotland. Pam also earned a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.

About the Founder, Zachary Einerson
Avidmission is led by its founder, Zachary Einerson, a highly experienced education professional. He recently served as a consultant for the University of St Andrews in Scotland, which was named the top university in the United Kingdom by The Guardian and The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide of 2022. During his time there, Zachary utilized his expertise to revamp the institution’s admissions procedures and improve their recruitment efforts for international students. Additionally, he played an important role in the evaluation of international credentials, ensuring that the University of St Andrews continues to admit only the most qualified students. He also graduated from the University of St Andrews with two graduate masters degrees with distinction and a Ph.D.
Moreover, Zac has substantial experience in the college admissions process, having spent several years making admissions decisions for a variety of academic majors and working with students from over 145 countries. He also has a background in higher education as a co-founder and leader of a not-for-profit organization, which he turned into the largest Education Abroad Returnee Services provider, delivering 80 conferences in 22 regions, and offering academic and professional development coaching workshops impacting more than 5,000 college students and 500 education professionals.
As the founder and leader of Avidmission, Zachary personally trains every college counselor on staff. This personal touch has led to an impressive track record, with over 800 students benefitting from Zachary’s unique insight into the college admissions process and gaining admission to their preferred institutions.
